Location/activities
Javea
Javea is located on the coast midway between Alicante and Valencia, an hour from Alicante airport. Renowned, as one of the prettiest regions along the Mediterranean, the area offers a wonderful variety of landscapes from mountain ranges to golden beaches and rocky coves. Javea enjoys a mild temperature all year round and the World Health Organisation has named it as having one of the healthiest climes in the world. There are more recorded hours of sunshine here per year than in any other place in the whole of Spain.
Javea is made up of an old town, a second urban centre at the Port and a summer fun and beach area, the Arenal. The town offers the visitor real Spanish charm with its quaint shops and buildings of Historical interest, together with weekly market and fiestas.
